MISSION

To create new opportunities for women and young people through social, economic, crisis prevention and social programs, providing them with a variety of services for their reintegration and fulfillment in society.

AO ODFC achieves its mission by implementing initiatives of lobbying and advocacy in the field of preventing and combating domestic violence and sensitizing the general public about the phenomenon of domestic violence and combating it.

THE VISION

"A society without violence in the family and community."

The family is the nucleus and defining element of a society, and in this context AO ODFC is the promoter of the values of a society, in which human rights and human value are respected in the family and ensured by the public authorities of the state.

AO ODFC is a national organization, established by free association of members actively involved, passionate and with a unique vision to create a constructive and effective dialogue and generate ideas and viable solutions to prevent and combat the phenomenon of domestic violence in Republic of Moldova.

AO ODFC is an active member of the National Coalition "Life without Violence" and the Platform for Gender Equality.

PURPOSE

To defend the rights of young people and women regardless of their ethnic origin, spoken language and religion, by encouraging, training and promoting them to realize their full intellectual potential in society.

Asociația Obștească Onoarea și Dreptul Femeii Contemporane - AO ODFC advocates for the defense of human rights, promotes gender equality policy for equal rights between women and men, contributes to preventing and combating violence in the family and society, and trafficking in human beings, provides opportunities for achievement and support for young people and women, including victims of violence and/or human trafficking, mothers with their children who are in need.
